Because as much as I’d hate to admit it, but Trump is pretty smart. Yes, Palin is a shitty politician...However, she does have that “star power”. Regardless if you like her or not, you know the name Sarah Palin.
It’s kinda like how many people plan on voting for Hillary without knowing anything about her other than the fact that she’s a Clinton.
